the people in the cavea
What's in a name?
The Cavea is what the Romans called the place where the audience sat in their theatres and amphitheatres.
For thousands of years, people have gathered to laugh, cry, dance, cheer and do business.
These shared moments shape culture, fuel innovation, and drive progress. They’re a fundamental part of what it is to be human.
As tech and AI continue to reshape the way we connect, consume and communicate, real-world experiences become even more valuable.
That demand creates opportunity: to create and sell new experiences, and for brands to participate in memory-building moments.
But there's a risk: when we over-commercialise, we dilute what makes live experiences powerful. And in a world where moments become commodities, everyone loses.
At Cavea we’re on a mission to help our industry navigate the tension between great experiences and great business.
We do that by helping those capturing the value to keep the people that matter... the people in the Cavea... at the heart of everything.
